Typhoon! is honored to have Lee serving as its Catering Operations Director. Following his culinary arts education in Long Beach, California, where he graduated first in his class, Lee spent the next 15 years as executive chef for Red Lion Hotels and Greenwood Inn. During this time he received many awards including Chef of the Year, Red Lion Inns; multiple year winner of Tualatin Crawfish Festival and multiple international ice carving championships.

Lee’s strong business sense naturally launched his career into catering and facilities management. As director of food and beverage for Sweetbrier Inn, Oregon Golf Association Gold Club and Salvador Molly’s, Lee became a master at reducing costs, increasing productivity and improving customer satisfaction. By fostering strong front and back of the house teams, Lee has developed a formula for blending best-in-class menus with premier customer service resulting in high quality experiences for his catering clientele.

Holly’s southern hospitality and style is a welcome addition to the catering team. A New Orleans native, Holly relocated to the Pacific Northwest in 2005. Her 10 years of experience includes extensive travel in Asia. This is where her love for Thai food and the culture flourished. Holly has diverse catering experience. Her fine arts education coupled with her natural ability to blend all of the senses results in stunning buffet and banquet settings and experiences.

A native Oregonian, Melissa brings five years of accomplishment-laden hospitality experience to Typhoon! Her core competencies include sales, operations, and management. Melissa's ability to effectively respond and adapt to changing market conditions is an inherent and valuable skill. This coupled with her attention to detail and instinctive vision has naturally progressed her into the catering side of the house.
